The STIPE Community initially started as a gaming clan in 1998 and quickly grew to over 150 members in just a few months. Needless to say, STIPE needed and rented multiple game servers to keep their community ‘well fed’.

Unfortunately, the community discovered other game server hosting providers had a challenge of maintaining servers to acceptable levels. Low quality, overpopulated servers with frequent downtime, poor network performance, and no backups. Worst of all, limited to no support. And so, the quest began for STIPE to develop their own hosting solution!

The STIPE community already consisted of brilliant brains, IT Network, Hardware and Software Engineers. After intense amount of tweaking and benchmarking of hardware, network and software, STIPE were finally able to find the perfect solution for hosting quality game servers at affordable price. Initially hosted for their own community, it wasn’t long before many other gaming communities wanted this solution for themselves. It is now to the point where STIPE has become the oldest and most successful Game Server Host in Australia. Since 1998 STIPE’s goals remained the same: Performance, Support, and Reliability.
